TO TAN OR NOT TO TAN
Brides-to-be often want the joy of a glowing golden tan to complement their white gown. The rule of thumb is: less-is-more. These days, pale is interesting and too much of a good thing could result in you looking more like George Hamilton than Gisele Bundchen. Use sun beds and self-tanners sparingly and have a test run at least two months before the wedding. This is for two reasons: Firstly to monitor for an allergic reaction and, secondly, to gauge whether you look better tanned. Never go more than two shades darker than your own skin tone, no matter how pale you are.
